made clear, and expressed as a part of the behaviour 'choice' the students are presented with at the time when unacceptable behaviour occurs.  Sometimes this is understood,e.g. when the behaviour has been ongoing and when the choices have been previously outlined

Don't Obey Bullies (DOB)
We have a DOB policy-Don't Obey Bullies. Students are encouraged to 'speak up' and bring all forms of bullying behaviour into the open.  This is addressed in Class Meetings, Assemblies and the SRC.  This has been very successful in empowering students to take an active role in making Ainslie a safe and happy environment for all students.  We take incidents of teasing, harassment, verbal and physical violence very seriously at Ainslie.
